Ask about a plan

Coverage terms are summarized here for convenience; the manufacturer warranty statement supplied with your appliance and the Summit Protection Plan contract are the binding documents. Open-box and scratch-and-dent units are covered as stated on the individual listing — most retain the full factory warranty because they were never installed, and every unit carries at least a 90-day Summit guarantee.

Making a claim

How a repair actually goes

  1. 1

Tell us what it is doing

Call the service line, or send the form below with your model number, serial number, and a short description. A photo of the error code or the model plate speeds everything up.

  2. 2

    We diagnose it

A factory-trained tech comes out — usually within the same week in Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville. The $99 diagnostic is applied in full toward the repair when you approve the work.

  3. 3

    Fix first, replace second

Our techs carry common Samsung and LG parts on the truck, so most repairs finish in one visit. If a unit cannot be repaired under warranty, we work the replacement through the manufacturer with you.

Register your appliance

Two minutes now saves a week later

Register your new appliance with the manufacturer within 30 days of delivery. Registration is what links your serial number to your purchase date, and it is the difference between a same-week warranty repair and a hunt for a receipt from two years ago.

Keep your Summit invoice — it is your proof of purchase date for both the factory warranty and any Summit Protection Plan. We can always re-send it; just ask.

  • Register within 30 days of delivery
  • Keep the invoice and the serial-number sticker
  • Add a Protection Plan any time in the first 30 days

Text the showroom you want and we will reply there — model numbers and photos of the space both help.

Warranty questions

What people ask us

Do I have to buy from you to get service?

No. We repair Samsung and LG appliances regardless of where they were bought, plus most other major brands. Customers who bought from us go to the front of the schedule during busy weeks.

Is there a deductible on warranty repairs?

Not on manufacturer warranty work, and not on the Summit Protection Plan. The only fee is the $99 diagnostic on non-warranty visits, and that comes off the bill the moment you approve the repair.

What is not covered?

Cosmetic damage that happened after delivery, misuse, power surges, pest damage, improper installation by someone else, and normal consumables like filters and light bulbs. If we installed it and something is wrong with the install, that is on us.

What happens if it cannot be fixed?

Our order of operations is fix, then replace, then refund. If the manufacturer authorizes a replacement, we handle the paperwork and deliver the replacement on our own truck.

How long do parts take?

Common Samsung and LG parts are on the truck or in the Longmont warehouse. Special-order parts typically arrive in 3–7 business days, and we call you with a firm date rather than making you wait for a text from a portal.
