The house rule

We still measure your doorway

Before any appliance goes on a truck, we confirm it clears your doorways, stair turns, and cutouts — with a tape measure, not a guess. It has been the rule since 1987, and it is why our re-delivery rate rounds to zero.

Come by either showroom and the person who quotes your kitchen is the same one who schedules your delivery.

Fair questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Are your prices really competitive with the big-box stores?

On identical models, yes — and we'll match a written local price. Where we win outright is the total: delivery by our own crew, altitude tuning, haul-away, and a service department that picks up the phone are part of the deal, not add-on line items from a third party.

What happens if something breaks after the sale?

You call the same store that sold it. Our techs handle warranty work in-house for the brands we carry, and our 3- and 5-year Summit Protection Plans cover parts and labor after the factory warranty ends.

Why does buying local matter for appliances specifically?

Appliances are heavy, connected to gas, water, and 240V power, and they fail on Saturdays. Distance and subcontracting make all three problems worse. Our trucks are 20 minutes away, our installers are licensed, and our schedule is set in Boulder — not at a national call center.

Do you handle builder or property-manager accounts?

Yes — multi-unit pricing, scheduled phased deliveries, and one invoice. Ask for the sales desk at the Boulder store and mention your project timeline.
